Thalia
was born the 26th of August 1972, in Hospital Espanol, Mexico. The youngest
of five children, Adriana Thalia Sodi Miranda was a tomboy when she was
younger and preferred playing sports with the boys and being outdoors.
A more feminine side kicked in when she enrolled in a school to be trained
in Classical Ballet. Thalia, nowadays, may be better known as Tommy Mottola's
(Mariah Carey's ex-husband and President of Sony Music) wife, but for
her fans in the Latin community, Thalia made her presence known as a pop
singer and soap opera diva long ago. She shakes her arse better than we
ever will, and she sings better than we do too, but Tommy's ex, Mariah,
will likely run circles around Thalia's vocal abilities. She is incessantly
confident, almost to the point where you can mistake it for arrogance.
Still, she's a fun loving woman who has charmed her way into the hearts
of many fans around the world.
